| Thallus pale greyish green, thin, smooth, somewhat glossy. Ascomata black, conspicuous, numerous, immersed, curved, sinuous, often branched, 0.5–2.0 mm long, 0.10–0.15 mm wide; lips closed. Proper exciple almost completely to completely carbonised. Hymenium 100–150 µm thick, not inspersed. Ascospores 8 per ascus, transversely 13–15
(–16)-locular, (43–) 55–65 × 8–11 µm, I+ blue. CHEMISTRY: No lichen compounds detected. |
